Guest invoices

You issue the guest's invoice from the booking page, with your own Számlázz.hu account. Invoices carry the seller details and invoice block you set up in Számlázz.hu.

Connecting Számlázz.hu

  1. 1In Számlázz.hu, create a Számla Agent key (Settings → Számla Agent keys).
  2. 2In Stayfellow, as an owner, open My account and paste the key under Guest invoices.
  3. 3Choose your VAT status: exempt (AAM) or VAT registered, which puts accommodation on the invoice at 5%.
  4. 4If you collect tourist tax, enter it per guest per night, in forints.

Good to know: The key is stored encrypted. Set VAT and tourist tax as agreed with your accountant.

Issuing an invoice

  1. 1Open the booking and scroll to Invoice.
  2. 2The buyer's name and email come from the booking. Enter their address and, for a company, the tax number.
  3. 3Check the gross accommodation amount and the number of guests liable for tourist tax (without under-18s), choose the payment method and click Issue invoice.

Accommodation and tourist tax are separate lines. Tourist tax is outside the scope of VAT and only goes on forint invoices.

If you tick it, Számlázz.hu emails the invoice to the buyer. The invoice is in the guest's language, Hungarian or English.

Good to know: For a euro apartment the invoice is in euros too; Számlázz.hu converts the VAT at the MNB rate.

PDF and reversal

Download the PDF of an issued invoice from the booking page at any time.

A booking has one valid invoice at a time. If something is wrong, reverse it as an owner: Számlázz.hu issues a reversal invoice, and then you can issue a new one.
