NTAK and VIZA

Hungarian accommodation providers report bookings, guests and daily revenue to NTAK, the national tourism data centre, and guest details to VIZA. Stayfellow prepares these reports from your bookings.

Where it stands

Live NTAK reporting starts once Stayfellow is certified for NTAK. Until then you can set up your accommodations and see each day's daily close drafted from your bookings, but nothing is sent, so keep reporting with your current system.

VIZA, the guest register, is a simulation: Stayfellow shows when guest details would go to VIZA, and sends nothing.

Good to know: Owners and managers open it under NTAK and VIZA.

Accommodations and units

Apartments with the same NTAK registration number form one NTAK accommodation, and the apartments are its units. Hourly rooms are never units.

  1. 1On each apartment's Official tab, under Address and NTAK, enter the NTAK registration number: two capital letters and eight digits, for example MA12345678.
  2. 2In the NTAK unit card on the same tab, set the room number, the unit type and the single, double and extra beds. Do not change the room number once reporting has started.
  3. 3Under My account → Organization, enter the provider's name and tax number in Operator and contact.
  4. 4Open NTAK and VIZA, then the accommodation. On its Settings tab, enter the accommodation name as registered in NTAK, the building, the VAT rate of the accommodation fee and how the day is closed: by you every day, or automatically at the time you set.

Until everything is in, Still needed for reporting at the top of the accommodation lists what is missing, with a link to each.

The daily close

For every day, the accommodation reports a daily close: the units let, the guests, the accommodation fees, the tourist tax, other charges and the payments. On the Daily close tab, pick a day to see what its close will hold.

Fix these before closing lists what is still missing, for example a guest night with no guest checked in, or a booking without an amount. Below it you see the units let, the departures and a preview of the message to NTAK.

  • Units out of use: when a unit cannot be let, long term (out of order, for example a renovation) or short term (out of service, for example a repair).
  • Closed days: when the accommodation does not operate. These days need a daily close too, marked as not operating.
  • Revenue without a booking: daily revenue that belongs to no booking, for example the bar's sales to visitors.

NTAK on the booking

For apartments with an NTAK registration number, owners and managers see more on the booking's page:

  • NTAK data, under Details: the booking number, sales channel, booking type, guarantee and the guests' country. An empty field sends the default, for example the sales channel that matches the booking source.
  • Guests in NTAK: the guests from the online check-in, with their arrival and departure (Check in, Check out) and their tourist tax status. Recording the stay's arrival and departure moves them too, and under-18s are exempt automatically.
  • Charges (NTAK): items beyond the accommodation fee and the tourist tax, such as food, drinks or programs, with their NTAK category.

Room changes and day-use stays go into the reports as such; see Bookings and the daily routine.

The simulation logs

NTAK simulation on the NTAK and VIZA page lists when each apartment booking and cancellation would have been reported. VIZA simulation lists each recorded arrival and departure, and whether every guest's details were there. Guests enter them at online check-in, or you record them on the booking.

No identity document data is asked for or stored until the VIZA connection is live.
