Getting started

Create your account

To sign up you enter the name of your property or company, your name and your email address. The link in the email works for 30 minutes and only once.

Open the link to create a passkey. It uses your phone or computer's built-in authentication: fingerprint, facial recognition or the device PIN. There is no password to steal.

Good to know: Add a second passkey too, for example on your phone: My account → Security → Add a new passkey. If you lose one device, you can still sign in with the other.

Your first apartment

1. 1Under Properties, in the New property section, choose the Apartment type, enter its name and click Add.
2. 2Open the apartment and, on the Settings tab, set the check-in from and check-out by times (15:00 and 10:00 by default) and the minimum number of nights.
3. 3In Information for guests, write what guests need to know: parking, Wi-Fi, key handover, house rules. It shows on the guest link.
4. 4Enter the door code. Guests see it on their guest link, but only from the check-in time until the check-out time.

Good to know: The Room type is for spaces booked by the hour, such as a meeting room. For overnight guests, always choose Apartment.

Want to look around first? Sample data

In an empty account you can load sample data in one click: two apartments, a room and a few made-up bookings. The Load sample data button on the Properties page shows as long as you have no property yet.

Good to know: Sample data cannot be deleted yet. If you want to work with your real properties, skip it.

Your first booking

1. 1Click New booking. On a phone, the + in the header opens the same form.
2. 2Choose the apartment and enter the guest's name, the number of guests and the arrival and departure dates. Email and phone are optional, but the guest link is sent to the email address.
3. 3Set the guest's language and the booking source, then click Save booking.

Good to know: Stayfellow does not let you save overlapping bookings or stays shorter than the minimum. One guest can leave and the next arrive on the same day.

What next?
